He completed undergraduate studies at the University of Sofia at the Faculty of Medicine (MD). Master studies completed at the University of Tennessee -Physician Executive MBA (University of Tennessee), Knoxville, TN. Dr. Shehu is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG), USA, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Healthcare-Management and Strategy Institute, USA, Lean Six Sigma Champion-Institute for Healthcare Quality Research and Education, USA. Dr. Shehu is internationally experienced healthcare professional, educator and medical illustrator with 20+ years of accomplishments. Author and Illustrator of numerous medical publications, and creator of multi-platform-based medical mobile applications including “Clerkship LogBook” for iOS and Android. Dr. Shehu is a proven leader with a track record of delivering quality, effective health care and education in a variety of demanding settings among diverse populations. He has participated in many international and local conferences and has published numerous scientific articles in international journals.
